A Conversation with Women Veteran Authors
On March 19, 2020, the CNAS Military, Veterans, and Society Program hosted a virtual panel discussion featuring four recently published women veteran authors on their experiences and opinions. Ryan Leigh Dostie, author of Formation: a woman's memoir of stepping out of line; Mary Doyle, author of numerous volumes featuring women who wear combat boots; Kyleanne Hunter, co-editor of Invisible Veterans; and Kaylah Jackson, journalist with ConnectingVets, joined Kayla M. Williams, Director of the CNAS Military, Veterans, and Society Program, to discuss women's experiences in the military and as veterans.
