COVID-19 and the Geopolitics of Its Financial Market Turmoil

On Friday, March 27, 2020, the CNAS Energy, Economics, and Security Program hosted a virtual roundtable on the geopolitical impacts that will arise from the global market turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hosted by Senior Fellow and Program Director Elizabeth Rosenberg, the event featured remarks from Elina Ribakova, Deputy Chief Economist, Institute of International Finance; Rachel Ziemba, an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the CNAS Energy, Economics, and Security Program; and Peter Harrell, an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the CNAS Energy, Economics, and Security Program.
